I had an interesting experience that I want to share with you.
I had to go and buy some groceries. After paying for my purchases, I went back to my car. As I walked toward the car, there was no one else walking or driving by at that moment.
When I got into the car, started the engine, and began backing up, something in my head said very clearly: “Pay attention to the car behind you when you reverse. ” I thought: “Hmm, that’s very strange.” Naturally, I checked all the mirrors to make sure I could back up. The car behind me hadn’t even started its engine, and I didn’t see anyone sitting in it. I started backing up, and when I was almost done, I saw in the mirror that the car behind me—its headlights came on—and immediately I saw the reverse lights come on, and not even a second had passed when that car started moving backwards. I tried to shift gears so I could drive straight ahead and signal at the same time. That car stopped just before we collided. Thank God!
But I was amazed by the fact that I knew this was going to happen. Something inside me told me it would happen, and I was so shocked by that fact. As soon as I got home, I told my family what had happened and shared my experience, because I was so amazed that the voice in my head was so clear.
I’ve had an experience like this before, but it was a long time ago. That’s why it was so amazing to me. I’ve always believed that there are many things we can’t see, hear, or touch, but that still exist, and this experience reminded me that I need to trust my intuition and act on it.
